Only someone who knows he has the victory can touch on serious spiritual matters on a turn up beat. That’s how strong Phil’s faith comes across on this track. He runs through a couple examples of how the devil may try it with the saints through different distractions and temptations, but as 1st John 4:4 says; ‘Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.’ (KJV) It’s short but snappy and straight to the point. And given his own background, there’s a harmonious mixture of UK and US styles of rap in there.
