Celebrate Jesus WITH US

I remember looking over my shoulder peering your way
I remember you looking over asking my gaze to stay
I remember our conversation nothing came from our mouths
I remember the frustration as our emotions went down south
I remember wanting you to get it to truly feel my pain
I remember you wanted to talk, to sit that day it rained
I remember you seeing my soul seeing the scars that were still there
I remember hoping that my heart didn't have a hole that I could still care
All in all, I remember
I remember looking at you
You looking at me I remember
Us figuring out what to do begging to really see

The

Lord's

Couple

We fuss and fight, never scuffle
Shout with all your might, I show my muscle
Walk a rocky path, feel like we’re the Lord’s couple
Walk a rocky path, feel like we’re the Lord’s couple

Our story's crazy you can't judge it by the contents
Not a fair reflection, you gotta judge it by the context
If you can't do that, it's better not judging at all
I put her on a pedestal, I catch her if she falls
My phone's on silent, I only answer when God calls
I’m done doing dumb things on my smart phone
No more excuses, like I must have a clone

We fuss and fight, never scuffle
Shout with all your might, I show my muscle
Walk a rocky path, feel like we’re the Lord’s couple
Walk a rocky path, feel like we’re the Lord’s couple

I’m waving at my past life, staring at my future wife
Never told you that before, focused on the strife
We're so different we fit perfectly
Will you take me as I am or demand the perfect me
Will you giveup on me, or try to per-fect me
Will you know when to push and when to leave me be
Take a time out when I tell you ‘leave me b’
This ain’t twenty one questions, I got about eight
I ask God the ninth one, tell me is it fate?
