Celebrate Jesus WITH US

Stay in tune with Freeda

My relationship with Christ is daily renewed and developed because I have made a conscious decision not to go back to my vulnerable state of living in sin but by constantly keeping contact with the Light, Jesus. I sing and pray as often as I can; and read the Bible daily because I want to know Jesus and the power of his resurrection so that I would be able to share through music with others the salvation and freedom that is given without any cost to us all.

I stay very connected with Jesus through music because I discovered that I am a worshiper and also love soul music. It all happened so quick that I thought this must be a short lived vision, when my friend from law school recommended me to her now fiancé J.Walker the owner of The Lions Den (TLD), my music manager, mentor and motivator. He didn't hesitate in unveiling my passion for music and identifying my long term music vision. Not only have I discovered the kind of music I enjoy and effortlessly sing, I am able to write my own lyrics to the instrumentals I am giving by TLD, and also how to professionally sing in the studio. Having received one to one training from the TLD, I believe I am being prepared for the gospel music ministry to succeed and do exploits in this season and for our generation

I can't say I was lucky to be born and brought up in a Christian home, rather I see myself to have received the grace of God in abundance. We all know that not every family embrace the Light who is Christ Jesus, I am so glad my family found and love Jesus.

In August 2005, I attended a youth convention in Derbyshire which was organised by my church called the church of Pentecost. Coincidently, it was my birthday on our second day of the convention and I can remember like it was yesterday I went there with an expectation to rededicate my life to Jesus and be free from sin.

"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT)" I was willing to know God more so before I left for the convention I said a prayer to God, that I want the best birthday present ever not from my parents or loved ones but from God Himself. Not knowing God had something more than what I expected. I was restored to God and revived in spirit, I felt so alive and delivered during my worship and prayers.
